FAQ for Members

1. How do I sign up to be a member of Maker Studio?

You can register online at our website, pay the monthly membership fees using our e-commerce and book a time to come for our one day compulsory training. After that, you’ve officially become a member!

2. Can I use any of your tools right after I join the membership?

Yes! Once you’re a member, you can use any of the tools available in the Maker Studio after you’ve completed the compulsory one day training.

3. I have experience using the tools, do I still need to take the training?

Yes. In order to ensure your safety and the safety of others in the Maker Studio, we need to certify each member to be qualified and fit to independently use the tools.

4. Can I join the workshop classes offered by Maker Studio?

Yes. As a member of the space, you can join a maximum of one workshop per month for free.

5. May I come in to get a tour of the place?

Yes. We’re open from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. every weekday. Do inform us via email or phone to let us know you’re coming.

6. If I want to use the 3D printer, can I bring my own filament?

Yes if it’s compatible.

7. Can I use maker studio’s 3D printer filament?

Yes, we charge by RM40/hour.
